The Six Major Browsers
There are currently 6 major browsers on the market: Firefox, Opera, Safari, Flock and MSIE (Internet Explorer). The latest arrival is Chrome by Google which promises to be a major improvement over all others. Depending on which browser you visit your website with, it will appear slightly different.
Firefox - the better browser
At this time, Firefox is considered the most secure browser.
For the purposes of web security, we propose that you use Firefox for your regular browsing with the "No Script" plugin installed. Use Internet Explorer only when you encounter a situation in which it is necessary.
Be Fully Prepared
Each browser has its advantages. Opera is moving into position to become the best browser. Apple is trying to strengthen the position of its Safari browser and Netscape still exists but because it is not an open source browser it was basically destroyed during the browser wars with Microsoft.
